Audit Check + Dispute Pack

Think your workers' comp audit bill is wrong? We'll check every line.

We recalculate your premium audit under the published rating rules, show you each error with the dollars at stake, and prepare the dispute letters you sign and send. Flat price. Refund if we don't find enough.

What we check

Subcontractor charges

Subs billed as your payroll even though you had a certificate, or charged on the full contract price when labor and materials can be separated.

Overtime and exclusions

The premium part of overtime, per diem, and other pay that the rules leave out of audited payroll.

Class placement

Office staff, outside sales, and owners put in your highest-rated field class, and payroll that could have been split between classes.

Owners and officers

Excluded owners charged anyway, and officer payroll above the state maximum or not prorated.

Rating math

Rates, experience mod, schedule credit, premium discount, and expense constant, recomputed in the order the premium formula applies them.

Your deadline

Many carriers give only 30 days from the audit invoice. We show the window first so you don't lose your right to dispute.

How it works

  1. Tell us about the bill. Policy state, carrier, invoice date, and roughly how much is at stake. We check that your state is eligible and show your dispute window.
  2. Pay the flat fee. $249 if less than $10,000 is at stake, $449 at $10,000 or more.
  3. Send your documents. Your audit statement at minimum. We send the full list after checkout.
  4. Get your report and letters within 3 business days: each finding with its rule, evidence, and dollars, plus a ready-to-sign dispute letter pack.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I get?

A findings report that recalculates your audit line by line, lists each error we find with the published rule behind it, the dollars at stake, and a confidence label, plus a dispute letter pack: a request for the auditor's worksheet if you don't have it, a line-item dispute letter with the premium recalculation carriers ask for, and an escalation packet for the NCCI dispute process where it applies. You sign and send the letters in your company's name.

How does the refund work?

If our report doesn't contain high-confidence findings worth at least 2 times the fee you paid, we refund the full fee. The refund depends on what we find, not on what your carrier decides, because the carrier's decision is outside anyone's control.

Do you contact my carrier for me?

No. You stay the sender. We prepare the calculations and documents; you review, sign, and send them. That keeps you in control and keeps the dispute coming from the policyholder, which is who carriers expect to hear from.

How fast is it?

We deliver the report and letter pack within 3 business days after we receive your documents. If your deadline is closer than that, tell us when you send your documents and we'll flag what to send first.

What documents do you need?

At minimum, your audit statement or invoice. The audit worksheet, your policy declarations page, payroll by employee, your four quarterly 941s, your 1099 or vendor list, and certificates of insurance from your subs make the check more complete. We send you the full list after checkout.

Why isn't my state available?

Some states require a special license to charge a fee for reviewing an insurance policy's premium. Until we hold the right license in a state, we don't take orders there. Leave your email and we'll tell you if that changes.

Is this legal or insurance advice?

No. It is a calculation check and document preparation service for a dispute you file yourself. We're not a law firm, an insurance agency, or a licensed consultant, and we don't promise any outcome.
